Job Description
We are looking for a Salesperson to join our Sales and Business Development team. The role will be responsible for sourcing new corporate and event customers, developing business opportunities, managing customer accounts, preparing quotations and proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to support smooth event execution.
Responsibilities
Business Development
- Source and develop new corporate and event customers.
- Generate new sales opportunities and business partnerships.
- Conduct sales presentations and customer meetings.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential customer segments.
Sales & Account Management
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales-related documents.
- Follow up on customer enquiries and quotations.
- Manage customer relationships and support customer retention.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain professional communication with customers throughout the sales process.
Event Coordination
- Liaise with Operations, Kitchen, and Warehouse teams.
- Ensure customer requirements are communicated accurately to the relevant departments.
- Support smooth execution of events and catering orders.
- Follow up on customer requirements, order details, and event changes where required.
Reporting
- Maintain customer and sales records.
- Submit weekly sales updates and sales forecasts.
- Assist in customer payment follow-ups when required.
- Update management on sales pipeline, customer feedback, and business opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in catering, hospitality, events, or corporate F&B sales.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management capabilities.
- Able to prepare quotations, proposals, and customer presentations.
- Able to coordinate with internal departments and external customers.
- Existing corporate network will be an advantage.
- Responsible, target-driven, and customer-oriented.
KPI
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Acquire new corporate accounts.
- Maintain customer retention and repeat business.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and sales updates.
- Maintain professional customer service standards.
- Support growth of corporate sales, event sales, and catering sales.
