Onsite Technician

You will be working for an IT service provider operating worldwide supporting our operative team in handling our international projects.

As Onsite Technician, you will be providing 2nd line onsite technical Support to Enterprise users of desktop/laptop/PC, assisting with building and deployment of new desktop/laptop hardware, supporting mobile devices and managing tickets using the company’s chosen IT ticketing tool.

• Working technical knowledge, in order to address service work orders, for PCs, laptops, cabling, televisions, projectors, phones, peripherals and site security equipment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (e.g. reporting), with the ability to run workshops for information collation
• Works on projects of moderately medium-complex scope, and able to work with inter company teams
• Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures
• Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations
• Basic support of data center and application architecture
• Ability to plan, implement, and monitor computer and printer/scanner networks (e.g. file server)
• Troubleshoot basic network issues and understands the administering of switches, routers, and firewalls
• Knowledge of backup, tape, and exchange infrastructures
• Typically 2-5 years of experience
• Ability to configure routers and switches
• Integration and customization of hardware components on operating system and networks
• No CCNA or similar certifications. Troubleshoot basic network issues and understands the administering of switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points and firewalls including hard reboots of equipment like server, storage devices or appliances at Client site
