WSHO cum ECO (Building Project)

Our client is in construction industry (Grade A1 Contractor/ Class 1 General Builder) and they provide full suite of integrated construction services and solutions in both the public and private sectors.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Liaise closely with Senior Manager, EHS (Environment Health Safety) and Head of Project to develop, implement, maintain, and improve EHS Management Systems and safety culture at project level.
• Lead daily toolbox meeting, safety meetings, safety inspections, safety training and all other EHS initiatives or activities to maintain a high level of safety at work site.
• Monitor and take disciplinary actions against unsafe acts/conditions on project site to comply with the Company Safety Management System and the WSHA and its subsidiary legislation.
• Responsible for accident reporting and investigations including near misses and any industrial disease cases at work site.
• Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities.

REQUIREMENT

• Must be a registered WSHO with the relevant authorities with at least 3 years’ of relevant working experience in a construction firm
• Has prior experience working for mixed-development/ building projects
• Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
