M&A Associate Director – Investment Banking

Key Responsibilities

• Support and execute M&A and strategic advisory transactions from origination through to completion.
• Assist in the preparation of financial models, company valuations, pitch books, information memorandums and client presentations.
• Conduct company, industry and market research, including financial analysis and transaction due diligence.
• Support all stages of transaction execution, including due diligence, data room management, transaction documentation and coordination with clients and advisors.
• Work closely with senior bankers, clients and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of transactions.
• Assist with deal origination activities, including industry research, company analysis and preparation of marketing materials.
• Support other corporate finance and strategic advisory assignments, including DCM/ECM-related projects where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Finance or Transaction Advisory.
• Strong M&A transaction experience is preferred, particularly candidates who have been involved in deals from origination through execution and completion.
• Strong knowledge of financial modelling, company valuation, accounting and corporate finance.
• Hands-on experience with financial models, valuation analysis, pitch books and information memorandums.
• Good understanding of the M&A transaction process, due diligence and deal execution.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced transaction environment.
