This position has a strong focus on Campus Redevelopment, for which planning has started and the new buildings will be completed in about 3 years’ time. The new Campus offers a unique opportunity to design and test new care models for the future, and to care better for patients. Job Descriptions
- Supported the planning and procurement of medical equipment, non-medical equipment, and furniture for hospital development projects.
- Coordinated user workgroups by organizing regular meetings, facilitating discussions, and monitoring work plans and key performance indicators.
- Assisted in budget planning and cost control to ensure project expenditures remained within approved budgets.
- Collaborated with user departments and stakeholders to develop equipment and furniture specifications for tender documentation.
- Evaluated tender submissions and provided technical recommendations on the compliance of medical, non-medical equipment, and furniture.
- Supported tender evaluation committees in the assessment and selection of equipment, furniture, and service providers.
- Assisted the campus planning team in project planning and implementation activities as required.
- Acted as the key liaison between user departments, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure operational requirements, workflows, design changes, and project information were accurately documented, communicated, and incorporated into planning and procurement processes.
- Kept up to date with healthcare planning trends, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to support effective hospital planning and development.
