Associate Psychologist

About the role:

Clarity Singapore Limited is looking for an Associate Psychologist to join its Triage Team in service of the charity’s beneficiaries within the community.

Key responsibilities:

· Assist in management and assessment of routine psychological cases, applying Mental State examination assessments, suicide and safety risk evaluations, triages and case formulations

· Provide structured brief intervention and routine psychological intervention under supervision

· Delivery of psychological programmes and services

· Delivery of psychoeducation programmes to clients and caregivers

· Adhere to professional policies and procedures for professional practice

· Any ad-hoc tasks and projects in relation to Clarity’s programmes and services as directed by the Executive Director

Requirements:

· Degree with Honours in Psychology/Social Work or Masters in Counselling. Relevant work experience with mental health clients preferred. Fresh graduates with volunteer/internship experience in mental health sectors may also apply.

· Confident, proactive, and passionate team player with a heart for community work

· Prior work or voluntary experience working with persons with mental health issues

· Dynamic and resourceful team player

· Ability to work independently in the challenging community environment

· Passionate about community recovery work and rehabilitation

· Good communications and organisational skills

· Effectively bilingual
