M&E Coordinator / Engineer

Job Summary

You will lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and authorities to resolve technical issues and drive project progress efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to monitor and report on the progress of M&E works
• Supervise subcontractors’ M&E activities to ensure strict adherence to design drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and local codes and regulations
• Enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and project specifications throughout all M&E operations
• Collaborate with relevant authorities, subcontractors, and clients to manage technical matters including shop drawing submissions, inspections, testing requirements, and commissioning processes
• Diagnose and resolve on-site M&E issues promptly to minimize project delays and maintain quality standards
• Participate actively in technical and coordination meetings to align project objectives and resolve cross-functional challenges
• Plan and manage the delivery, storage, and utilization of site materials and equipment to optimize resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Execute any additional duties assigned by the Project Manager and Project Director to support project success
