Senior/ Staff Nurse (UCC)

The Role

Provide direct quality patient care to patients, maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards through continuing education and development.

Key accountabilities

1. Manage and plan the care management of individual patient using the 4-prong Systematic Approach to Nursing Delivery comprising Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation.
2. Carry out physicians’ treatment/investigations as ordered.
3. Participate in action plans for the unit to enhance employee engagement and maximize employee performance.
4. Maintain current trends in nursing practice and management through formal education and self-development.
5. Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve and follow through quality/service issues.
6. Demonstrate competency in nursing core & special skills.
7. Perform duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

1. SNB Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate
2. Diploma In Nursing/Degree Qualification
3. Post-basic Specialty Certificate (desirable)
4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Good customer service skills.
6. Good telephone etiquette.
