Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/React) | Banking & Financial Services | 12-Month Contract, Highly Extendable

Job Summary

Join a leading financial services technology team as a Senior Full Stack Developer, delivering high-impact backend and frontend solutions within Corporate & Investment Banking on a 12-month extendable contract.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus to support scalable financial applications
• Develop responsive frontend applications with React and LIT to enhance user experience in banking systems
• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Mentor and guide junior developers to elevate team technical capabilities and code quality
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications on Azure cloud infrastructure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 10+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java backend development, including Spring Boot and Spring Security
• Solid experience with React frameworks, including Hooks and Redux/Redux Toolkit
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Prior experience in banking or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory
