About this job

To ensure smooth onboarding process and agency movement process for AIA sales channels, conducting and reviewing agent’s fit and proper assessment.

Be up-to-date and well-versed with regulations pertaining to Agent onboarding, fit and proper requirements.

Support the team in day-to-day tasks (provision of data/reports).

Responsibilities:

Onboarding and Agency Movement

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new agents, including due diligence, reference checks, and successful integration.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with regulations, onboarding requirements, and Fit and Proper guidelines.
  • Lead and facilitate onboarding sessions, ensuring timely progress and follow-up on applications in the pipeline.
  • Ensure prompt follow-up and resolution for pending applications.
  • Oversee timely creation of agency and agent codes and accurate filing of onboarding documentation.
  • Consolidate and report agent statistics (e.g., demographics, adverse records).
  • Monitor and track agents with adverse records or under observation.
  • Provide timely support for processing agent movements within the organization.
  • Prepare payment files related to onboarding and representative activities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance onboarding processes.

Others

  • Update agents’ particulars and details accurately and promptly.
  • Assist with MAS and GIA license registrations for agents.
  • Support the annual Fit and Proper exercise.
  • Manage agent code creation and maintenance for other business divisions.
  • Generate reports and perform data analysis as required.
  • Assist with FC migrations across entities when necessary.
  • Conduct gap analysis and ensure SOPs are updated regularly.
  • Provide weekend month-end support when the last day of the month falls on a weekend.
  • Perform UAT and post-implementation checks for recruitment-related platforms.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as directed by the Manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree
  • At least 2-5 years of operations related role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and word)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player
  • Independent
