Job Summary

PlayFACTO @ Yishun seeks experienced and passionate Student Care Teachers to deliver engaging Chinese lessons and support primary students (P1-P6) in their language development through homework guidance and positive education frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and present Chinese lesson content effectively to primary school students to enhance language proficiency
• Supervise and guide students from Primary 1 to 6 in completing Chinese homework, spelling practice, tests, and lesson assignments to reinforce learning outcomes
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to report on students’ Chinese language progress and address learning needs
• Prepare lesson materials and organize administrative tasks such as filing worksheets to ensure smooth lesson delivery
• Collaborate with the Centre Head to perform additional duties as assigned, supporting overall centre operations
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student character development and educational foundations

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in education, student care, or classroom teaching, preferably at the primary school level
• Strong command of the Chinese language to deliver effective instruction and support student learning
• Prior experience as a Chinese teacher or tutor demonstrating ability to teach and manage a classroom
• Effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Classroom management skills to maintain a productive and supportive learning environment
• Commitment to developing and teaching children with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
