Strategic Sourcing Manager (Contract Manufacturer)

Responsibilities

• Contract Manufacturer Sourcing

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies supporting New Product Development (NPD) and business goals

• Manage external manufacturers and strategic partners to ensure alignment on technical requirements, timelines, and delivery

• Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams to drive successful project execution

• Lead supply chain activities for New Product Introduction (NPI), including risk assessment and mitigation

• Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to optimise production readiness and reduce manufacturing risks

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure resilience, cost control, and on-time delivery

• Resolve supplier and manufacturing issues and manage change requests effectively

• Work with category managers on global sourcing, cost optimisation, and supplier performance

• Ensure supplier quality standards are met in line with Quality requirements

• Track and report key supply chain KPIs and project status to management

• Drive governance, change management, and continuous improvement across the supply chain organisation

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering / Business

• PMP Certified

• Experience in Semiconductor capital equipment contract manufacturing Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Processes & Quality Management is highly desirable

• 5 years of experience in a PMO organization for NPD or R&D organization

• Ability to travel in SEA
