Job Responsibilities
Events and Sales
Support the Restaurant Sales Manager in handling inquiry calls on a timely basis
Identify new target enquiries leads by prospecting both internal and external stakeholders
Assist with client meetings and site recee’s when required
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards
Be familiar with services/features at our restaurants to respond to guest inquiries accurately
Meet with clients on the day of the event
Read and understand BEOs and Resumes
Ensure client files are kept organized and current with all required information
Meet with potential clients, understand their requirements, and work closely with restaurant teams to deliver and execute the event
Proactive in recommendations and suggestions to deliver a win-win situation for client and the restaurants executing the event
Prepares all special event contracts, charge the necessary deposits, and ensure deposits and full payments are received by the required deadlines, in accordance to Finance and Compliance’s teams’ SOPs
Restaurant Reservations System
Work closely with the various stakeholders such as the call centre team and restaurant host team on any synchronization required for reservations. Be the main conduit for all communication between various teams
Work closely with restaurant management team to support their reservation process and maximize their bookings
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Diploma/Degree in hospitality or related field preferred
Experience
Proven experience as a sales executive, with minimum 2 years of experience
Basic knowledge and understanding of Food and Beverage
Administration knowledge of F&B operations, proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Other Prerequisites
Demonstrates a collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a commitment to open communication.
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Flexible with working hours and able to support events and operational needs as required by the business.
Proficient in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance
