Electrical Technician (IoT Devices/ Up to $3k)

Job Summary

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot IoT devices and electrical equipment on site to ensure system reliability and safety. You will conduct inspections, provide technical support during commissioning, and collaborate with production teams to maintain smooth equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain IoT devices, electrical equipment, and components at various sites to ensure operational functionality
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess potential installation locations and system conditions
• Identify and resolve faults in IoT devices and electrical systems promptly to minimize disruptions
• Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to verify safety and efficiency, documenting all test results accurately
• Provide technical support during IoT system commissioning and startup to ensure successful implementation
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain continuous operation
• Follow electrical safety procedures and workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Report hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents and ensure compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience in electrical installation works to perform safe and effective system setups
• Knowledge of relevant workplace safety laws, regulations, and compliance standards to ensure adherence during all tasks
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to complete projects efficiently
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members and stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail to perform accurate and thorough work
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts as required by operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• ITE certification or higher educational qualification
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in electrical or IoT system maintenance
