PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT

Night Shift Only (7pm to 7am)

• Patient Meal Support
  Assist nursing staff with meal serving where required.

• Ward Logistics and Supply Management
  Maintain adequate stock levels of ward consumables and clinical supplies.
  Manage linen replenishment, collection, segregation and storage.
  Transport specimens, documents, equipment and materials.

• Housekeeping and Environmental Support
  Perform bed discharge and terminal cleaning. (Night shift)
  Maintain general cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the ward.

• Patient and Family Support
  Attend to appropriate patient and next-of-kin requests.
  Assist with patient mobility and transfer activities under nursing supervision.

• General Operational Support
  Comply with all hospital policies, infection control requirements, workplace safety standards and quality procedures.
