About the opportunity

A well-established multinational manufacturing group is looking for a Legal Counsel to support its commercial and operational activities, with particular involvement in data privacy matters.

The role

You will work closely with business teams across the organisation, providing practical legal advice and supporting the management of commercial contracts and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, particularly manufacturing and supply-related contracts

Advise internal stakeholders on day-to-day legal and operational matters

Support contract management and administration across the group

Assist with legal and compliance initiatives across different business functions

Conduct legal training for internal teams

Provide support on other legal matters as required

Requirements

Qualified lawyer in Singapore or another Commonwealth jurisdiction

1–5 years of post-qualification experience gained in private practice or an in-house legal team

Strong commercial contracting and negotiation skills

Practical, business-oriented and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders

Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently

Experience in manufacturing, supply chain or privacy-related matters would be advantageous
