AMHS Engineer (GRIT Trainee)

Traineeship Description
This position reports to the AMHS Manager and works closely with manufacturing, module and facility teams.

The trainee will support the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Automated Material Handling System (AMHS). Through structured training and hands-on experience, the trainee will develop technical competencies in factory automation, material transport systems, troubleshooting, and smart manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Monitoring daily AMHS operation and system performance.
2. Supporting troubleshooting and recovery activities for OHT, stockers, andmaterial control systems (MCS).
3. Assisting engineers in preventive maintenance and equipment health monitoring.
4. Participating in AMHS system testing, commissioning, and upgrade activities.
5. Collecting and analyzing operational data to identify performance improvement opportunities.

Technical Skills and Competencies

1. Gain knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and Automated Material Handling Systems(AMHS).
2. Acquire troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for automation and equipment integration issues.
3. Develop data analysis and reporting capabilities using engineering and operational performance data.
4. Gain exposure to preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies.
