About this job
Key Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems, including load calculations, ductwork, and piping layouts.
- Select and specify HVAC equipment and components.
- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and HAP.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution.
- Develop energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in HVAC design, preferably within marine and offshore industries.
- Proficient in HAP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with marine/offshore standards and construction safety practices.
- Knowledge of pressure vessel design codes is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
