Project Manager (Fire Protection System)

Role: Project Manager

Location: Jalan Kayu

Remuneration: Up to $6k + AWS + VB

Working hours: Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 6.00pm, Sat 9.00am – 1.00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of fire protection system projects for data centres and commercial buildings.
• Coordinate with drafting teams to ensure accurate and compliant engineering drawings.
• Interpret and apply relevant fire protection codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality installation and timely project completion.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and relevant stakeholders during project meetings.
• Prepare and manage variation orders, claims, and supporting documentation.
• Develop and submit project documentation, including method statements, work schedules, and progress reports.
• Conduct site surveys, prepare project costing, and support tender or quotation activities.
• Perform site inspections and quality audits to ensure installations comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure projects are delivered within schedule and budget.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing fire protection system projects within commercial buildings or data centres.
• Good understanding of local fire protection codes and industry regulations.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
