Chartering Manager

We are looking to hire an experienced Chartering Manager to strengthen our dry bulk chartering desk, covering PG and the Indian Ocean, with a focus on Handysize to Panamax vessels

Job Description

• Fixing vessels on voyage and time charter basis within the assigned regions
• Actively sourcing cargoes, vessels, and business opportunities
• Managing relationships with charterers, owners, operators, and brokers
• Negotiating main terms and concluding fixtures
• Drafting and negotiating Charter Party Agreements
• Monitoring market developments and providing commercial input
• Maintaining and expanding a network of clients and counterparties

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chartering / Freight Manager in dry bulk shipping
• Solid market knowledge of PG and Indian Ocean trades
• Hands-on experience with Handysize to Panamax segments
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills
• Ability to work independently and manage fixtures end-to-end
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
