We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to join our expanding team here in Singapore:

Job Description

• Maintain the safety standards and procedures of the day-to-day operations of the vessels we are operating
• Monitor and analyze shipping costs, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and implement effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency
• Coordinating with the legal and insurance team to minimize risk and exposure
• Acting as a liaison between management and chartering
• Keep charterers and owners advised on all post-fixture activities to ensure relevant operational information is passed on timely
• Liaise with clients on resolution processes for post-fixture issues
• Handle post-fixture tasks such as freight invoices, demurrage/dispatch, and port disbursement accounts

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in dry bulk operations
• Strong knowledge of commercial, technical and operational aspects of the industry
• Understanding of the Far East & South East Asia trade patterns
