General Practitioners (GP) Relocate To New Zealand

Job Description

We are seeking qualified General Practitioners / Family Physicians who are interested to relocate and practise in Auckland, New Zealand.

The successful candidate will provide primary healthcare services to patients in a clinic setting, including medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, preventive care and health advice. The role will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general medical consultations and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medication and treatment plans where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Provide preventive healthcare advice and patient education.
• Work with nurses, clinic staff and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Comply with applicable medical, professional and regulatory requirements in New Zealand.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Relevant General Practice / Family Medicine experience.
• Must be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
• Relevant GP / Family Medicine experience as required under the applicable MCNZ registration pathway.
• IELTS / OET may be required if applicable under MCNZ registration requirements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to relocate and work in Auckland, New Zealand.

Salary and Benefits

• Annual salary: NZD 210,000 to NZD 250,000, depending on relevant experience and suitability.
• Relocation or immigration-related guidance may be provided, subject to the employer’s approval and the individual circumstances of the successful candidate.
• Flexible working arrangements may be available.
• Opportunity to live and work in Auckland, New Zealand.
