Podiatrist, 5 Days Office Hours (Public Healthcare) HMZ

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide spectrum of foot and lower limb conditions.
• Treat cases ranging from:
  Low-risk conditions (corns, calluses, nail disorders).
  Musculoskeletal issues.
  High-risk conditions (e.g., diabetic foot ulcers).
• Prescribe and manage custom-made foot orthoses.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on preventive foot care and ongoing treatment.
• Conduct public talks and outreach on foot health.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives in the department.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to trainees and students.

What we're looking for:

• Degree in Podiatry from a recognised university.
• Registration with the relevant governing body (if applicable).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong clinical knowledge, reasoning, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Patient-focused, with a genuine passion for community healthcare.
• Resilient and adaptable; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated and committed to continuous growth in a healthcare career.
