About this job

We are looking for a dynamic and highly organised professional to drive Events, Industry and Alumni Engagement within a growing executive education environment. This role goes beyond event execution — it is about designing high-quality experiences and building a vibrant ecosystem of industry partners and alumni, strengthening institutional visibility and positioning the organisation as a thought leader.

You will lead the end-to-end planning, management and delivery of events, while cultivating meaningful relationships with industry stakeholders and alumni. You will also play a key role in translating these engagements into compelling content that amplifies our brand and extends our reach.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both execution and strategy — bringing people together, shaping conversations, and building a strong professional community.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Experience Management

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of high-quality industry and alumni events, including roundtables, masterclasses, networking sessions and thought leadership forums
  • Manage the full event lifecycle from ideation to delivery, including stakeholder coordination, budgeting, logistics, vendor management and on-site execution
  • Design engaging experiences across physical, virtual and hybrid formats, with a strong focus on participant experience and impact
  • Ensure seamless event operations, including registration management, attendee journey, and post-event follow-ups

Industry & Alumni Engagement

  • Build and deepen relationships with industry leaders, partners and alumni communities
  • Develop and implement structured alumni relations strategies, including engagement plans, communications, and community-building initiatives
  • Activate alumni as speakers, mentors, ambassadors and contributors to events and programmes
  • Curate event themes and engagement strategies aligned with industry trends, alumni interests and organisational priorities
  • Maintain and support alumni engagement tracking, outreach and database initiatives

Content & Brand Amplification

  • Develop high-quality LinkedIn content, event summaries and alumni features
  • Translate insights from events and alumni engagements into compelling narratives that reinforce thought leadership
  • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure consistent and impactful brand positioning

Strategic Development

  • Identify new opportunities for industry collaboration and alumni engagement
  • Propose innovative event formats and engagement strategies to enhance visibility and differentiation
  • Track performance metrics across events, partnerships and alumni engagement to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience in event management, stakeholder engagement, alumni relations or corporate communications
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end events, with strong operational and project management capabilities
  • Experience in alumni engagement or community management is an advantage
  • Strong writing and content creation skills, particularly for LinkedIn or professional platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and alumni
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
