Job Purpose
The Curriculum Developer is responsible for designing, mapping, and translating academic and executive education programmes into SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)-aligned, Skills Framework (SFw)-mapped learning pathways. The role ensures courses are industry-relevant,competency-based, stackable into micro-credentials, aligned to national workforce skills frameworks, and compliant with SSG funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Skills Framework Mapping & Curriculum Translation
· Translate academic content intoSkills Framework (SFw)-aligned competencies
· Map learning outcomes to Technical Skills & Competencies (TSCs) and Core Skills
· Identify skill gaps and redesign curriculum accordingly
· Ensure alignment with SSG funding requirements
Curriculum Design & Development
· Design modular and stackable micro-credentials
· Develop blended learning formats (online, in-person, hybrid)
· Create learning pathways from certificate to postgraduate level
· Collaborate with SMEs, adjunct/full-time faculty
Industry & Stakeholder Alignment
· Engage industry partners for curriculum validation
· Conduct labour market and skills trend analysis
· Support advisory boards and curriculum review panels
SkillsFuture Compliance
· Prepare documentation for SSG approval and audits
· Ensure funding eligibility compliance
· Maintain curriculum andassessment records
· Support accreditation processes
Learning Design & Pedagogy
· Apply adult learning principles(andragogy)
· Develop competency-based assessments
· Design experiential and applied learning activities
· Support blended and digital learning strategies
Continuous Improvement
· Review learner feedback and course performance
· Update curriculum based on Skills Framework changes
· Support learning analytics and reporting
· Improve learner outcomes and completion rates
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, HRD or related field
Certification in DDDLP preferred
Experience
5+ years in curriculum development, instructional design or training environment
Experience in SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)or CET environment preferred
Experience in Skills Framework mapping highly desirable
