Kopi Near Me is Singapore's leading provider of authentic Nanyang coffee through smart coffee technology. Today, we operate over 150 coffee machines across Singapore, comprising both freshly brewed smart vending machines and workplace tabletop coffee machines that serve thousands of cups daily.

Reporting directly to the Founders, you will have end-to-end accountability for the business unit's strategy, operations, financial performance, customer experience and organisational development.

Position Summary

Operations Manager is responsible for the overall success of Kopi Near Me's workplace coffee business.

The role oversees the full customer lifecycle — from business planning and product strategy to customer acquisition, installation, service delivery, customer success, operational excellence and financial performance.

Working closely with Operations, Technology, Product Development and Finance, you will ensure the business achieves sustainable growth while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Driving the Business

• Drive the Workplace Coffee Solutions business as an independent business unit.

• Present business performance, strategic initiatives and investment recommendations to the Founders.

• Establish governance, reporting frameworks and performance management systems.

Financial & Commercial Management

• Monitor key commercial and financial KPIs.

• Evaluate business cases for new products, investments and expansion opportunities.

• Oversee pricing strategy and recurring revenue models.

• Ensure sustainable customer acquisition and long-term customer value.

Operations & Business Excellence

• Develop scalable operating models for installation, servicing and maintenance.

• Improve operational efficiency through process redesign and automation.

• Collaborate with Operations to optimise logistics, inventory management and field service delivery.

• Implement business process improvements across all functions.

• Ensure business continuity through effective operational planning.

Product & Innovation

• Work with Product and Engineering teams to improve existing workplace coffee solutions.

• Translate customer insights into future product enhancements.

• Evaluate emerging workplace beverage technologies and market opportunities.

• Support pilot programmes and new product introductions.

• Develop long-term product and service roadmaps.

Digital Transformation & Business Intelligence

• Apply AI-enabled tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to analyse operational and customer data, generate forecasts and recommendations, identify exceptions, and support data-driven decision-making.

• Remains responsible for validating AI-generated outputs and implementing appropriate operational actions.

• Champion the use of AI and digital technologies to improve business performance.

• Develop dashboards to monitor operational, financial and customer performance.

• Improve demand forecasting, inventory planning and business analytics.

• Drive digital transformation initiatives across the business unit.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen for managing budgets, profitability and business performance.

• Keen to learn across operations, customer success, commercial and business functions, and implement business process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
