We are looking for a Project Engineer for our client’s dynamic team.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing project documentation,scheduling, material tracking, and stakeholder coordination to ensure our complex industrial projects are delivered seamlessly from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Documentation & Control: Prepare, review, and submit required project documents, maintain document summaries, and ensure accurate record-keeping for the final Master Document Register (MDR).
- Engineering & Drawing Management: Handle engineering and drawing submissions, update and issue the latest revised drawings to project teams, and manage Technical Queries (STQ) / Requests for Information (RFI).
- Scheduling & Reporting: Prepare and monitor project schedules, generate regular progress reports, and track project forecasts for management review.
- MTO & Commercial Coordination: Prepare and update Material Take-Offs (MTO) based on approved layouts, cross-check against bidding quantities, escalate discrepancies to the Project Manager and procurement team, and support monthly progress claims and Variation Orders (VO).
- Site Operations & Communication: Attend daily toolbox meetings, update project managers on site progress and challenges, assist in drafting subcontractor Scopes of Work, and coordinate equipment connection drawings across stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience, ideally managing projects within specialized sectors such as Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, or Oil & Gas.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional time management, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive attitude and a passion for thriving in a fast-paced environment.
