Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented QC Inspector to support our Quality Control operations.

This is a well-rounded QC role involving a combination of quality documentation, inspections, record maintenance, regulatory compliance, product checks and some testing activities. You will support the quality process from incoming materials and production stages through to final product release.

The role is suitable for candidates who are organised, comfortable handling documentation and records, and willing to learn quality systems such as GMP, ISO and SAP.

Fresh graduates with a relevant Diploma are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on incoming raw materials, packaging materials, pre-weighed materials, in-process products and finished products
• Maintain and update GMP, ISO and Quality Control documentation, records and reports
• Prepare, update and maintain SDS, Certificate of Analysis (COA) and retention sample records
• Create, update and maintain information in the SAP system
• Support internal and external audits for GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Assist with updates to HSA GMP guidelines, environmental guidelines, quality manuals and health & safety policies
• Follow up and maintain records relating to product permits, licences and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and check the pre-weighing process and related documentation
• Maintain inventory, equipment, records and general condition of QC-related areas
• Manage retention samples and associated documentation
• Assist in investigation, troubleshooting and testing related to customer complaints and product improvement
• Perform microbiological and other QC testing where required, including environmental monitoring, raw material and finished product testing
• Maintain and operate the DI water system
• Coordinate and monitor pest control activities and ensure scheduled inspections are completed
• Highlight quality issues and provide feedback or improvement suggestions during team meetings
• Support other Quality Control and compliance duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology, Applied Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Biotechnology, Food Science or other relevant Science-related discipline
• Fresh graduates with a relevant Diploma are welcome to apply
• Candidates with QC, QA, GMP, manufacturing or documentation experience will have an added advantage
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 is advantageous but not required
• Good attention to detail and comfortable handling documentation and records
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn SAP
• Able to work independently and follow established procedures
• Responsible, organised and willing to learn
• Comfortable supporting both documentation and hands-on QC activities
