Software Engineer (Semiconductor Industry) | Up to $6,000

Our client is a high-tech equipment manufacturer specializing in advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) and acoustic microscopy systems widely used in semiconductor wafer inspection, packaging, and failure-analysis applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain software applications for semiconductor equipment and automation systems.
• Develop new features, troubleshoot software issues, and perform testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical and application engineers on software integration.
• Participate in software debugging, validation and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain software documentation and version control using Git.
• Support software deployment and provide technical assistance during system commissioning when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of software development experience.
• Very good knowledge of C# and .NET.
• Experience working with Git for version control.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, industrial automation or machine software development is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Jira and SECS/GEM communication protocols will be an added advantage.
