Full-time Yoga TeacherJob Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Yoga Teacher to join our wellness center and contribute to the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of our clients. As a Yoga Teacher, you will lead various yoga classes, design thoughtful sequences, and provide guidance that supports our clients' individual goals and needs.
Responsibilities:Class Instruction:Plan and lead a variety of yoga classes for practitioners of all levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.
Develop and sequence yoga routines that align with different class themes and objectives.
Demonstrate and guide students through yoga poses, asanas, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques.
Offer modifications and adjustments to accommodate various fitness levels and physical abilities.
Client Engagement:Establish a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages participation and growth for all students.
Build relationships with clients by providing personalized attention and offering support in their yoga journey.
Address client questions, concerns, and feedback in a professional and empathetic manner.
Wellness Education:Educate students about the principles of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and alignment to enhance their understanding and practice.
Foster an awareness of mind-body connection, stress management, and holistic well-being through yoga.
Curriculum Development:Create diverse and engaging class content, integrating a range of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, and more.
Continuously update and innovate class offerings to cater to evolving trends and client preferences.
Professional Development:Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in yoga practice, and teaching techniques.
Attend workshops, trainings, and conferences to enhance personal skills and knowledge.
Studio Operations:Assist in maintaining a clean and organized studio space before and after classes.
Collaborate with other wellness professionals and team members to create a harmonious and integrated wellness environment.
Qualifications:Certified Yoga Instructor with a recognized yoga teacher training program (200-hour minimum, 500-hour preferred).
Proven experience teaching a variety of yoga styles to individuals and groups.
Strong understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment, and breathing techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with students and address their needs.
Empathetic and approachable demeanor, creating a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere.
Commitment to personal wellness and continuous growth as a yoga practitioner and teacher.
