AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN

Main Responsibilities
Operate the automated robotic welding and plasma cutting machine during production.
Load and unload parts according to the required process flow.
Monitor the machine operation, robot movement, welding condition, plasma cutting condition, conveyor movement, vision inspection result, and overall production status.
Perform basic troubleshooting when machine alarms, part misalignment, sensor issues, conveyor issues, or minor robot stoppages occur.
Check and ensure the machine is operating safely before and during production.
Coordinate with the engineering or maintenance team for machine servicing, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Carry out basic cleaning, inspection, and daily machine checks.
Record production output, machine issues, downtime, and quality-related observations.
Support simple parameter adjustments under supervision, such as conveyor speed, part positioning, welding/cutting sequence, or robot program selection.
Follow safety procedures when working around robotic arms, welding equipment, plasma cutting equipment, electrical panels, moving conveyors, and servo-driven mechanisms.
