Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design: Prepare and review mechanical system designs including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and piping layouts.

• Project Supervision: Oversee installation of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.

• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct inspections, performance tests, and ensure systems are operational before project handover.

• Coordination: Work closely with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Building and Construction Authority (BCA) codes, workplace safety, and environmental regulations.

• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, drawings, and progress updates for management and clients.

• Sustainability: Recommend energy-efficient and eco-friendly mechanical solutions.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems in construction.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
