Azure Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Azure Engineer with strong networking expertise to design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure across enterprise environments. This role will play a critical part in ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud and network architectures aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure including VMs, VNet, storage, and PaaS services
• Implement scalable and resilient cloud solutions aligned to best practices
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives

Networking & Connectivity

• Design and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets, NSG, UDR
• Configure VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Application Gateway
• Ensure secure hybrid connectivity between on-premise and Azure environments
• Troubleshoot network performance, latency, and connectivity issues

Security & Governance

• Implement cloud security controls including Azure Firewall, WAF, DDoS Protection
• Manage identity and access via Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards

Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor system performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
• Perform capacity planning, cost optimization, and performance tuning
• Support incident response and root cause analysis

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 3 years of experience in Azure cloud and networking environments
• Strong knowledge of:

• Azure networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute)

  Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall)

• Hands-on experience with Azure Portal, CLI, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments
• Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-104, AZ-700) are advantageous

Good to Have

• Experience with multi-cloud (AWS / AliCloud)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
