Library Assistant (Part Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children in the library and ensure appropriate behaviour and safety.
• Shelve, organise and maintain books and other library resources.
• Assist with issuing, returning and tracking library materials.
• Keep the library clean, organised and welcoming for students.
• Follow the school's safeguarding, health and safety, and student welfare procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the Librarian, teachers and other school staff.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Librarian or school management.

Safeguarding:

• Abiding by the school safeguarding policy and keep abreast of any changes.

Other Information

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 3pm-6pm
• Contract Duration: September 2026 - June 2027
