Quality Control Technician

AlfaOhm Quartz is a Singapore-based specialist in quartz ware for the semiconductor wafer fab industry, serving Singapore and Malaysia. Our small and tight knit team in this company provide repair, refurbishment, manufacturing, and trading services to support silicon wafer and microchip production.

Job Summary

You will perform precise product measurements and quality checks to meet customer standards, assist in repair shop operations to improve efficiency and safety, and support quartz ware decontamination and packing processes.

Responsibilities

• Measure products accurately according to specifications and standards to ensure quality compliance (CMM operation and manual measurement tools)
• Deliver quality measurement outputs that meet customer expectations
• Report measurement findings and discrepancies promptly to the Operation Manager or Managing Director
• Collect scheduled data on equipment and systems to support operational monitoring
• Perform decontamination of quartz ware during incoming inspection and after final quality control
• Vacuum pack products according to customer requirements to maintain product integrity
• Assist the workshop supervisor in maintaining smooth and efficient repair shop operations focusing on repair and cost efficiencies
• Propose safety and operational improvements for management review
• Ensure safety protocols are observed and practiced consistently in the workshop
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness following 5S principles
• Support the expansion of repair and cleaning capabilities within the workshop
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team and operational goals
