Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and proactive Project Manager to lead our interior design and fit-out projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will take full ownership of project lifecycles, bridging the gap between creative design concepts and flawless physical execution.

You will manage site operations, control budgets, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and authorities.The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, exceptional site problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Governance & Execution

• Lead interior fit-out projects from initial site handover through to handover and the defect liability period.
• Develop, monitor, and enforce strict project schedules and critical path milestones.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring design integrity and high-quality craftsmanship.

2. Financial & Contract Management

• Manage project P&L, tracking expenditures against the approved budget.
• Handle procurement, vendor negotiations, and progress payment claims.
• Assess, document, and manage Variation Orders (VOs) and extension-of-time (EOT) claims.

3. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, landlord management, and internal design teams.
• Appoint, coordinate, and supervise sub-contractors, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) consultants, and suppliers.
• Facilitate weekly coordination meetings and provide clear progress reports to senior management.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all site works comply with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and submission guidelines.
• Implement and enforce strict site safety protocols and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards.
• Conduct comprehensive final site inspections and manage the rectification of punch lists.

Requirements& Qualifications

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Interior Design, Architecture
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven project management experience specifically within the interior design or commercial fit-out industry.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction details, MEP systems, material sequencing, and local regulatory approval processes.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, strict organizational capabilities, sharp negotiation skills, and the ability to solve complex problems under high-pressure site conditions.
