Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Factory & Office Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene and overall housekeeping standards of our food processing factory and office premises.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining factory production areas, offices, corridors, passageways, washrooms, common areas and other designated areas to ensure a clean, safe and hygienic working environment.

Experience in a food manufacturing environment will be an advantage.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain factory production areas, offices, corridors, passageways and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, toilets, sinks and other sanitary facilities.
• Sweep, mop and wash floors regularly to maintain good hygiene standards.
• Clean tables, work surfaces, doors, windows and other designated areas.
• Empty and dispose of rubbish and waste at designated collection points.
• Maintain cleanliness around production and warehouse areas without disrupting production activities.
• Carry out regular cleaning of staff pantry, canteen and common areas.
• Replenish toilet and cleaning supplies when required
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties according to the company's hygiene and cleaning schedules
• Use cleaning equipment, tools and cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored after use.
• Report damaged facilities, leaks, pest sightings, equipment issues or other maintenance problems to the supervisor.
• Assist with periodic deep-cleaning of factory areas, walls, floors, drains and other designated areas.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and comply with food factory hygiene and safety requirements.
• Follow workplace safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Carry out other general cleaning and housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor or Management.

Job Requirements

• No formal educational qualification required.
• Previous experience as a factory, food processing, industrial or commercial cleaner will be an advantage.
• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties.
• Comfortable with standing, walking, bending and carrying cleaning equipment or supplies.
• Able to work independently and complete assigned cleaning schedules responsibly.
• Good working attitude, reliable and punctual.
• Able to follow instructions and company hygiene and safety procedures.
• Able to work in a factory environment, including areas that may be wet or require frequent cleaning
