Maintaining full sets of accounts using MYOB/QUICKBOOK/ERP for audit

Prepare quarterly GST returns

Perform bank reconciliation, claims, petty cash expenses and inter-company

Job Brief: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounting Assistant to support our financial team. The ideal candidate will assist with managing expense reports, processing reimbursements, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

· Handle full set of accounts and month end closing. Able to handle multiple sets of accounts(ie. AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc)

· Create and update expense reports.

· Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.

· Check spreadsheets for accuracy.

· Maintain digital and physical financial records.

· Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed.

· Participate in annual audits.

· Liaise with internal and external parties on billings, payments, reconciliations, audit, taxation matters

· Requirements:

· Proven work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.

· Familiarity with basic bookkeeping procedures.

· Competency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks).

· Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
