Job Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-mechanical modules according to engineering drawings, BOMs, SOPs and work instructions.
• Carry out fastening, alignment, cable routing, adhesive application and torque tightening using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Perform functional testing and accurately record test results using Excel, SharePoint or SAP.
• Support troubleshooting, rework and retesting of assembly or test issues with Production Engineers.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and raise defect/non-conformance reports when required.
• Follow EHS, LOTO, ESD and 5S requirements and maintain proper workplace safety and housekeeping.
• Verify components against BOM and ensure correct material handling before assembly.
• Meet production targets and support continuous improvement activities such as Lean, 5S and Kaizen.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of experience in equipment assembly and/or testing is preferred
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, jigs, fixtures, torque tools and measuring instruments.
