Trader

We are seeking a commercially driven and analytical Trader to join our commoditiestrading desk. This mid-level role is responsible for developing and executingtrading strategies across agricultural commodity markets, with a focus on futures,options, and over-the-counter instruments. The ideal candidate will bringstrong market knowledge, disciplined risk management, and the ability togenerate trading opportunities that support the organization’s commercialobjectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, recommend, and execute tradingstrategies across agricultural commodity markets, including futures, options,and OTC instruments.

· Monitor global supply and demand fundamentals,weather developments, biofuel policies, macroeconomic trends, and other factorsinfluencing commodity price movements.

· Manage trading positions in accordance withapproved risk limits, governance requirements, and P&L targets.

· Identify market opportunities and provide timelytrading insights to support commercial decision-making.

· Build and maintain effective relationships withbrokers, counterparties, exchanges, and market intelligence providers.

· Prepare market analysis, trading updates,performance reports, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.

· Maintain awareness of relevant regulatorydevelopments and ensure trading activities comply with applicable internalpolicies and external requirements.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics,Business, Agricultural Economics, or a related discipline.

· 5–7 years of relevant experience in commoditytrading, preferably within agricultural commodities, edible oils, grains, softcommodities, or related markets.

· Strong understanding of futures, options, OTCinstruments, derivatives pricing, and commodity market risk management.

· Familiarity with agricultural commodityexchanges, trading platforms, and market data tools.

· Demonstrated ability to analyze marketfundamentals and translate insights into actionable trading strategies.

· Proven track record in trading, positionmanagement, and disciplined execution within defined risk parameters.

· Strong analytical, numerical, communication, andstakeholder management skills.

· High level of integrity, commercial judgement,and accountability in managing trading decisions.
