Job Summary

Manage inventory, procurement, supplier coordination, and logistics to ensure efficient stock control and timely delivery of hydraulic and industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock
• Execute stock re-ordering, issuing RFQs, comparing quotations, and verifying prices
• Issue purchase orders and manage receipt of goods to ensure timely procurement
• Coordinate with overseas group factories, external suppliers, and internal teams to confirm order readiness and delivery schedules
• Identify and arrange cost-effective shipping options for ad-hoc urgent overseas shipments
• Participate in supplier evaluation and qualification to maintain vendor performance standards
• Maintain ERP Stock Master data with high accuracy to support inventory management
• Yearly Stock- take
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management related to procurement and inventory functions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Business Study, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar procurement or inventory roles
• Experience in the hydraulic hose industry is preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high accuracy in data and documentation
• Ability to multitask and manage confidential information responsibly
