Job Summary
An Operations Executive oversees daily operational workflows, manages staff, and ensures compliance with company standards to maximize productivity. Key responsibilities include coordinating manpower, handling logistics and inventory, maintaining safety protocols, and resolving on-site issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operational activities by scheduling and coordinating workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Manage and supervise staff by assigning duties, monitoring attendance, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness
- Onboard new staff through comprehensive briefings on SOPs, employee handbook, training, and evaluation to ensure smooth integration
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct risk assessments to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Resolve operational problems and client complaints promptly to uphold service quality standards
- Prepare and submit detailed performance reports to inform management decisions and continuous improvement
- Maintain effective communication channels with team members, management, and clients to facilitate collaboration and feedback
- Organize and propose improvements on staff welfare and operational processes to enhance workplace satisfaction and efficiency
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and follow-up of incident reports to support compliance and risk management
- Collaborate with sales and finance departments to align operational activities with business objectives
- Facilitate the adoption and use of technology, electronic tools, and devices to improve operational workflows
- Plan and implement continuous work and performance improvement strategies based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Assist in reviewing records and information to ensure adherence to established work processes and standards
- Manage shift work schedules including weekends and public holidays to maintain operational coverage and flexibility
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license and/or PDVL with a minimum of 2 years accident-free driving experience (insurance requirements)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar operational supervisory role within logistics, manufacturing, or food & beverage sectors
- Proficiency in MS Office applications to support reporting and communication tasks
- Strong leadership and communication skills demonstrated through team management and problem resolution
- Ability to work effectively under stress and multitask in a dynamic operational environment
