Full-stack Engineer (React/TypeScript)

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong React and TypeScript expertise to build high-performance, data-intensive applications within a financial services environment.

Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain modern applications using React and TypeScript.
• Own major parts of the software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build reusable component libraries and scalable application architecture to support consistency, maintainability, and rapid delivery.
• Develop responsive, high-performance user experiences for complex and data-heavy workflows.
• Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, quantitative specialists, risk professionals, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive applications.
• Integrate applications with APIs, real-time and batch data services, backend systems, analytics engines, and third-party platforms.
• Build rich visualisations and interactive workflows around complex financial and analytical datasets.
• Contribute to backend services where required and help shape longer-term application architecture and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise building production applications using React and TypeScript.
• Excellent understanding of modern front-end architecture, component design, state management, asynchronous data flows, and performance optimisation.
• Proven experience delivering complex, data-intensive applications where usability, responsiveness, reliability, and accuracy are critical.
• Strong full-stack mindset, with experience integrating front-end applications with APIs, backend services, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with complex datasets and building high-quality visualisations, dashboards, grids, charts, and analytical workflows.
• Experience building and scaling high-quality software products in a product-led technology environment.
• Practical experience with automated testing, CI/CD, cloud environments, DevOps tooling, and production monitoring.
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work directly with senior stakeholders and collaborate across engineering, quantitative, data, and business functions.
