Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator

Job Summary

Carry out site safety inspections to ensure site safety management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work site compliance with the Company’s OSHAS procedures and safety management system
• Conduct thorough safety inspections and assessments to identify hazards and ensure regulatory adherence
• Investigate safety incidents and prepare detailed reports to support corrective actions
• Coordinate emergency response activities, including scheduling drills, training personnel, and updating emergency procedures
• Monitor industrial hygiene conditions at the work site to maintain a safe environment
• Lead and promote safety programs to enhance workplace safety culture and reduce risks
• Support safety program implementation by delivering training, conducting routine inspections of plant and machinery, and participating in safety committee meetings
• Maintain accurate and organized safety records for inspections, audits, and compliance verification
• Any ad-hoc job task assigned by the superior.

Required competencies and certifications

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or Safety Coordinator training course
• Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience in safety management
• Completed Work at Height Assessor training
