Android Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Android Developers to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable, user-friendly applications and possess strong knowledge of Android development frameworks, application lifecycle management, and mobile UI/UX best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure application security, quality, and responsiveness.
• Publish and manage applications on Google Play Store.
• Stay updated with Android platform updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of Android application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack Components.
• Experience with MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs and JSON/XML data.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of mobile application security and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Jetpack Compose.
• Firebase (Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging).
• CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• SQLite / Room Database.
