Finance Manager

About theRole

As the Finance Manager for Playpoint Group, you will assist the Financial Controller in overseeing the full spectrum of finance functions, including accounting, financial reporting, group consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting for Playpoint Group.

The role will work closely with the Financial Controller and finance teams across the Group to ensure accurate and timely financial information, effective financial controls and compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting activities of the Group and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of Group consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors to support the Group’s annual audit process and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
• Review quarterly GST submissions for Singapore subsidiaries
• Maintain and strengthen effective financial controls and accounting procedures across the Group.
• Review finance processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and internal controls.
• Supervise and guide finance team members to ensure effective performance and timely completion of responsibilities.
• Provide support and assume the responsibilities of other finance team members during periods of absence, as required, to ensure the continuity of finance operations
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Financial Controller or Directors from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and finance/accounting systems.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity and attention to detail.
