RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER (RTO)

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented RTO to support industrial, process plant, port, marine, reclamation and associated infrastructure projects in Singapore.

• Supervise and inspect siteworks for compliance with approved drawings, specifications and authority requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, progress and site safety, and highlight non-compliant works promptly.
• Witness inspections and testing and maintain clear site reports and records.
• Coordinate with the RE, QP, EPC contractors, consultants and clients to resolve site matters.
• Monitor defects and rectification work through satisfactory completion.
• Support authority inspections, project handover and other project duties.

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Building Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized Polytechnic or University.
• IES/ACES accreditation as an RTO / Qualified Site Supervisor, with a valid practicing certificate.
• At least 3 years of relevant site-supervision experience.
• Experience in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power, industrial process plant, port, marine, reclamation or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices, government permitting and statutory requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and written and spoken English.
