Regional FP&A Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional FP&A Manager for our Waters Advanced Diagnostics Division South East Asia+Pakistan Region. This regional role will be responsible for providing critical financial planning, analysis, and strategic support to the regional leadership team, working closely with the SEA+Pakistan Business Director, each Country GMs, and Marketing Sales teams, driving financial performance, and ensuring robust financial controls.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Advanced Diagnostics Division across Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and others) and Pakistan.

• Develop and implement financial models and analyses to support strategic decision-making, including business cases for new product launches, market expansion, and investment opportunities.

• Monitor and analyze regional financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, providing insightful commentary and actionable recommendations.

• Prepare and present regular financial reports to regional and global leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to ensure alignment on financial objectives and drive operational efficiencies.

• Oversee and enhance financial control processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

• Manage 2 Regional Business Analysts (Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur based) fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance

• This role will report to the APAC Senior Finance Manager, Advanced Diagnostics Division and be part of the APAC Finance leadership team

• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation within the FP&A function.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.

• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.

• Proven experience working within a multinational company, preferably in the life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare industry.

• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP), and financial modeling techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial processes and lead cross-functional initiatives.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP and financial planning software (SAP, BPC, PowerBI) is highly desirable.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

• Strong leadership and team development skills.

• Also open to senior FP&A analyst who is keen to move into a managerial role.

• Fluency in English is required

• Up to 10% travel within SEA region
