Facilities Engineer, Total Water Management

Key Responsibility

• Operate and monitor the UPW treatment system to maintain required water quality and flow.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system checks on pumps, filters, membranes, tanks, valves, and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to water quality, pressure, conductivity, TOC, and flow.
• Support breakdown maintenance and coordinate with contractors or vendors for repairs and servicing.
• Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, water quality results, and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with production, facilities, and quality teams to minimize disruptions to operations.
• Participate in equipment upgrades, commissioning, and qualification activities for UPW systems.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring system issues.
  

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in UPW, water treatment, or semiconductor/manufacturing utility systems.
• Good Understanding of pumps, filtration systems, membranes, control systems, or water quality parameters.
• Troubleshooting, analytical, or problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Key Competencies

• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems
• Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance
• Ability to read technical drawings and P&IDs
