  • Working hours: Mon-Fri 830am-6pm

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans based on individual patient needs.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to support patients’ functional independence, recovery and quality of life.
  • Manage and review patient caseloads, monitoring progress and modifying treatment plans where required.
  • Apply clinical reasoning to assess patients and determine appropriate treatment approaches.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, patients and caregivers to support holistic care.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, caregivers and healthcare staff on therapy programmes and management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans and patient progress.
  • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of rehabilitation programmes and service improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with the supervision, mentoring or training of junior staff and students, where applicable.
  • Participate in departmental training, competency development and professional development activities.
  • Keep updated on current occupational therapy practices, rehabilitation approaches and relevant healthcare developments.
  • Perform other duties and support service initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Registered with AHPC and hold a valid Practising Certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant occupational therapy experience in a hospital, nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
  • Relevant experience in community care, aged care, geriatric or gerontology settings would be an advantage.
  • Valid BCLS and AED certification.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Able to manage complex cases and work effectively under pressure.
